We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer - Part Time (Temp) to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX .
If selected you will:
Provide support to NASA/ES to Review of Commercial Crew Stress Reports to support first flight NET Jan 2024 Review of components and subsystem hardware designs Prior Experience reviewing Structural verification plans and structural analysis for NASA spaceflight hardware Fracture Control experience for spaceflight hardware, understand of NASA fracture control requirements and implementation Review Structural Analysis Reports and create a spreadsheet database with comments and questions Meet with Sierra to resolve comments and questions as needed Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
This position has been posted at multiple levels. Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master's or higher degree and normally possess 15+ years of related experience BSME in
Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Preferred Qualifications:
