We provide the gathering, compression, processing, transportation and water management services required to bring natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil to market and are dedicated to providing the best service and netback for our customers. We are driven to be best-in-class and committed to growing our existing assets in the Permian Basin through both greenfield and acquisition opportunities. Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-5
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer will engineer, execute, and manage midstream pipeline and facility projects while utilizing a deep technical knowledge and focus on customer service.
Other duties include:
Work independently on projects/technical assignments Define and prepare project scopes and cost estimates for pipeline and facility projects Manage project costs and schedules Execute multiple concurrent projects simultaneously Provide technical guidance to support operations and other internal and external stakeholders Lead teams to identify and solve technical and project management issues Maintain a strong understanding of industry and operational requirements Utilize best practices and safety standards Assist Management in making informed decisions Interface with customers and stakeholders, and communicate the status of developmental activities Perform a wide spectrum of assignments, requiring technical evaluation, innovation, and judgement while maintaining customer satisfaction Evaluate current processes to ensure continuous improvement Coordinate with construction personnel to ensure operational and regulatory requirements are met on all projects Oversee third party contract personnel engaged in projects Maintain a focus to detail across all work products All other duties as assigned Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering 1-5 years of relevant midstream engineering experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus Strong computer skills, including Microsoft products Experience using engineering design software, including, but not limited to: Promax, Ariel Performance, Fisher Sizing, Daniel's sizing, etc.
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity Must be able to lift up to 15-50 pounds at times Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above. Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis. Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
