Orange, Texas Position Overview Better Built Metal Buildings is seeking an experienced and reliable subcontractor steel building erector to assist with the construction and installation of metal buildings. The ideal crew will have hands-on experience with steel building erection, own the necessary tools and equipment, and be familiar with applicable windstorm regulations and requirements. Responsibilities Erect and assemble pre-engineered steel and metal building structures. Install structural steel components, framing, roofing, siding, and related building materials. Follow construction plans, specifications, and safety requirements. Perform work accurately, efficiently, and professionally. Maintain a safe and organized worksite. Ensure completed work meets applicable building codes and windstorm requirements. Coordinate effectively with project managers and other construction personnel. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience erecting steel or metal buildings required. Familiarity with windstorm regulations and construction requirements. Crew must provide and own their own tools. Experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious. Able to work efficiently as a team. Available to work some Saturdays when required. Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites as scheduled.
