Civil Engineer

Description We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead and support the preparation of construction drawings for single-family residential developments. This role involves supervising a design team and ensuring high-quality deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Responsibilities Oversee the development of construction drawings for single-family residential projects. Lead the design team in creating plans for paving, grading, storm drainage, detention, water, and wastewater systems under the guidance of the Project Manager. Generate and refine 3D surfaces using survey data and project specifications. Develop surfaces from alignments and profiles to support design accuracy. Maintain well-organized design files to ensure seamless collaboration across the project team. Construction plan production using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within one year of hire. Proven ability to coordinate with internal design teams and municipal staff to facilitate project reviews and secure permits. Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Richardson, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
