Datum Rios, LLC, San Antonio, TX, seeks Project Engineer to perform structural analysis and design calculations for primary structural systems and other holistic systems and components, for incorporation into project construction documents. Calculate structural loads (e.g., wind load, seismic load, etc.) based on applicable building codes. Assist with production of design drawings, contract documents, and other project deliverables. Prepare structural framing layouts, markups, details, schedules, and sketches, typically using Bluebeam, to communicate structural design information to teammates, clients, and contractors. Work in building information models using Autodesk Revit. During the Construction Administration project phase, perform jobsite visits to review general conformance with construction documents and write related reports for clients, respond to construction questions and issues, and check shop drawings. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the company by assisting with the development of design standards and details, and documenting and sharing lessons learned. Perform miscellaneous office tasks as needed, such as assistance with establishing and maintaining design standards. Develop a breadth of knowledge across multiple building types, structural materials, and systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Texas Professional Engineer License; and Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Environmental and Sustainable Engineering, or related; and 12 months experience.
