Job Description
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations and perform engineering analyses on incidents involving various types of vehicles and mechanical equipment
- Conduct vehicular accident reconstruction and mechanical failure analysis
- Explain technical findings in laymen's terms, both verbally and in writing
- Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications Requirements
- Vehicular knowledge
- Some experience in vehicle accident reconstruction
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, crawl under vehicles to inspect damage, walk on uneven and unlevel surfaces
- Willingness to travel Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- P.E. licensing
- Experience in the Automotive Sector (OEM), Vehicular Accident Reconstruction, Failure Analysis
- Knowledge of Occupant Safety Protection-airbags, dynamic airbags, interior safety design
- Understanding of Advanced Driver Assistance Technology-lane departure, adaptive cruise control, automated driving
