Commercial Construction Project Engineer Salt Lake City, UT Ready to build more than a résumé? A leading Salt Lake City area commerical general contrator is looking for a Project Engineer who wants to be involved, challenged, and given the opportunity to grow. You'll work directly alongside Project Managers and Superintendents, gaining hands-on exposure to the full construction process—from preconstruction and procurement through execution and closeout. You'll be part of a team delivering complex projects throughout the Salt Lake City area, with the resources, mentorship, and project exposure to build a long-term career in construction management. What You'll Be Doing
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the life of the project
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and project correspondence
- Assist with subcontractor coordination and procurement
- Track schedules, costs, materials, and project documentation
- Participate in owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetings
- Work closely with field teams to solve problems and keep projects moving
- Assist with quality control, punch lists, closeout, and turnover
- Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and overall project management What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Commercial construction experience through a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, internship, or similar role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with both field and office teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving construction environment
- Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software experience is a plus
