Hazel, Inc. , a total site development contractor for over 60 years, is looking for a Project Engineer to support our Project Managers in delivering high-quality site development projects. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in the field and exposure to all aspects of project execution. This is not a desk-only role, you'll be in the field, working alongside crews and leadership to keep projects moving. Duties Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination Assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and change orders Track quantities, production, and job costs Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors Help maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met Participate in job site visits to monitor progress and support operations Assist with procurement and material tracking Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date Generate technical reports and documentation through technical writing to communicate project progress and findings effectively. Skills 1-3 years of experience in construction (site development preferred) Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in both office and field settings Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with construction software is a plus Additional Information Must be able to travel to job sites as needed and have a valid driver's license.
