What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you'll be a key contributor to both daily operations and long-term business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead capital and engineering projects from concept, planning, and design through construction, startup, and closeout. Own project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and technical performance to ensure successful execution. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and resource requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, engineering firms, and vendors to keep projects moving forward. Apply sound engineering principles to evaluate designs and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Identify project risks early and develop practical mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost impacts. Manage project budgets, capital spending, change control, and financial reporting. Communicate project progress, milestones, risks and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders. Maintain complete project documentation, including engineering drawings, reports and regulatory compliance records. Partner with operations to ensure successful project startup, turnover, operator trainings, and documentation of lesson learned.

Ideal candidates bring:
A bachelor's degree Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial or a related Engineering discipline. 1-3+ years of experience leading engineering or capital projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to technical specifications. Experience developing project schedules, managing capital budgets, and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Working knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar software. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence teams and drive results without direct supervisory authority.
