CIDC specializes in engineering consulting for the repair and restoration of existing building, structural, and building envelope systems. Work requires onsite evaluation and field inspection of building components including existing structural systems, facade, waterproofing, roofing, parking garages, design of building repairs, and construction oversight. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Perform investigations and/or water testing to determine the causes(s) and extent(s) of damage or deterioration to existing structures and prepare reports of findings. Develop project documents including structural and building envelope repair design drawings, reports, and meeting minutes. Conduct construction inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and drawings. Track contractor's progress, including quantities of work performed in the field, and review contractor's applications for payment for accuracy. Review informational, product data, and material safety data submittals from contractors for conformance with specifications and drawings. Requirements A BS in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management.
