Job Description The Project Engineer will: Participate in a rotational training program through estimating, field operations, and project management. Assist with quantity takeoffs, bidding activities, and cost estimates for civil construction projects. Support project teams with scheduling, coordination, documentation, and project tracking. Shadow field crews to gain firsthand knowledge of construction operations and project execution. Collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, and operations personnel. Track project progress, budget performance, and key deliverables. Utilize construction software and Excel-based tools to support project planning and reporting. Help maintain communication between project stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and field teams. Learn company processes, standards, and best practices through hands-on training and mentorship. Contribute to the successful delivery of commercial, residential, multifamily, and transportation projects. The Successful Applicant A successful Project Engineer should have: Interest in construction, engineering, or related industries. Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to work onsite full-time in Woodbridge, VA. Interest in both office-based and field-based construction activities. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Ability to provide multiple professional references.
