Position Description Dawson Construction LLC 's internship program provides students with an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure in their chosen field. Most interns work during their summer breaks between academic sessions. While interning with Dawson, students may be assigned to various areas of the company including construction job sites, construction yard and equipment sites, project engineering, project administration, and field management. Goals and Objectives Interns learn various areas of commercial construction. Complete a meaningful experience that prepares interns for a successful transition to challenging and rewarding careers. Expose interns to a wide range of construction activities, and let them dive deep into a few areas.
Duties:
May provide support to various departments or job sites, with assignments that can include: Following safety protocols in a Safety First environment. Learning hands on skills. Supporting job sites or administrative departments. Gathering information. Completing projects and reports. Reading plans and documenting job details. Position Requirements Candidates Ideal candidates may be incoming juniors or seniors in college, currently enrolled in a 4-year institution majoring in engineering or construction management. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
