Job Description

Job Title:
Construction Project Engineer Job Description The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in assisting the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of construction projects. The role involves maintaining aspects of the project schedule as assigned, managing submittal approvals, coordinating timely delivery of materials, and ensuring projects are completed with quality and profitability while adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture. Responsibilities Oversee project financial responsibilities. Provide preconstruction services. Manage project start-up and scheduling. Handle RFIs (Requests for Information). Process change orders. Manage submittals. Coordinate project administration, coordination, and close-out. Promote and maintain positive customer relations. Essential Skills Proficiency in project management and construction management. Experience with data centers and commercial construction. Competence in handling change orders, RFIs, and project engineering. Proficiency in using Bluebeam and Procore software. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field. At least 1 year of experience within a general contractor in commercial construction. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in performing RFIs, submittals, and close-out procedures. Exposure to technical and complex construction projects. Work Environment The position is onsite at construction projects in the greater Tri Cities area, primarily around Boardman, OR, which is approximately 50 minutes from Tri Cities. The role supports data center projects and offers exposure to more technical and complex construction environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kennewick, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
