Structural Engineer (P.E. / S.E.) πŸ“ Kennewick, WA (99336) πŸ’° $100,000 - $150,000+ DOE About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to serve as the Responsible Professional Engineer (RPE) for complex, multidisciplinary projects. This role involves high-level engineering judgment, leadership, technical design, and client-facing responsibilities. You will also support the Structural Group Manager with client relationships and discipline-specific marketing efforts. What You'll Do (Essential Functions) As a Structural Engineer, you will: Lead, plan, develop, and coordinate large, complex structural projects or multiple smaller projects with significant technical requirements. Serve as a staff advisor/technical consultant on specialized engineering topics. Perform structural analyses, calculations, and prepare documentation across a wide variety of challenging projects. Utilize engineering tools and software including Enercalc , RISA , and other structural design programs. Act as Proposal Manager for Level 2 projects. Approve discipline-specific level-of-effort estimates as assigned by the Group Manager. Stamp and review engineering work performed by others within the discipline. Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed QA standards . Perform other duties as assigned by the Structural Group Manager.
Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Structural Group Manager .
Who We're Looking For:
A strong candidate will have: Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) ; Structural Engineer (S.E.) required Experience 8+ years minimum with 10+ years being ideal. Proven experience leading engineering projects with complex requirements. Proficiency in structural analysis software (Enercalc, RISA, etc.). Strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative leadership style. Ability to mentor, advise, and consult as a technical specialist.
