Provide technical design for grading/paving, stormwater analysis/design, utility coordination, and ROW needs. Mentor junior staff and uphold high-quality engineering standards. Assist with business development for our Civil/Roadway Design service line. Assist with project management activities including scope, schedule, and budget creation and management. Represent Transpo in client meetings, public workshops, and stakeholder coordination. Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related field). WA PE required . 5+ years of transportation or civil engineering experience, including roadway/transportation design. Experience with federally funded projects and WSDOT processes. Proven experience with stormwater analysis and design. Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D. Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to agency staff and the public. Ability to travel within Washington. Preferred Skills PE license in the State of Washington or the ability to get one within 6 months of hiring Leadership and mentoring experience.
