Job Description

Our 2027 summer internship and co op program offer practical exposure to geotechnical engineering, as well as the business functions that support the geotechnical consulting industry. You'll work alongside professionals who live our

Eligible Majors:
Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnical or Geological Engineering. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, preference given to those who complete their junior year before the summer of 2027 Completed and passed an introduction to geotechnical engineering course Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history Willing to travel to support remote projects and capable of driving long distances Able to lift at least 50 pounds and traversing sites on foot for a full day What You'll Do Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership Every task supports Terracon's commitment to safety, strengthens our service to clients, and reflects the integrity and excellence behind our work.
