We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our Midwest Transportation team. This position can sit in our Madison, WI; Green Bay, WI; Eau Claire WI, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, or Rhinelander, WI office.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Innovative Transportation Projects:
Spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge transportation infrastructure, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of excellence and innovation. Shape the Future with
Impactful Reports & Plans:
Prepare detailed reports, studies, specifications, and construction documents that guide the successful execution of complex transportation projects.
Forge Strong Client Relationships:
Take the lead in client management, building lasting partnerships and ensuring client needs and expectations are met with exceptional service and results. Drive Project Success as the
Manager:
Take ownership of a variety of projects, serving as the project manager to ensure seamless execution from concept to completion—regardless of project size or complexity.
Manage Budgets & Deadlines:
Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficient operations and successful delivery within scope, on time, and on budget. Commit to
Quality Excellence:
Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes, ensuring every project adheres to the highest engineering standards and regulatory requirements. Mentor & Inspire the
Team:
Lead by example, mentoring and developing project staff to elevate their skills and foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment. The successful candidate will have all of the following: A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering At least eight years of relevant work experience; and A PE license in any state with ability to obtain in Wisconsin within six months of start date The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Project Management experience on WisDOT projects including rural and urban roadways, freeways and interchanges Experience as a design lead on highway engineering design projects and plan preparation for rural, urban and freeway projects utilizing WisDOT Civil 3D software Experience leading teams on development of infrastructure plans and specifications for mega or major projects Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders including state DOT's Client management experience Experience preparing project task scopes, budgets and schedules A Wisconsin PE Why Mead & Hunt?
