Junior or senior college students pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field

GPA Requirement:

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Must be mobile and available for travel as needed Overview Bilfinger North America is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Construction Management Interns to join our team. This internship provides a structured, site-based learning experience, allowing interns to immerse themselves in the project and construction management environment. Participants will engage in a blend of onboarding, field exposure, practical project support, mentor coaching, and self-paced learning.

Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Site Orientation:

Complete HR onboarding and site safety orientation, including introductions to the project team and an overview of expectations.

Safety & Quality Assurance:

• Understand and adhere to Bilfinger's safety culture and project-specific quality standards.

Construction Management Fundamentals:

• Learn about the project lifecycle, documentation processes, and core responsibilities in construction management.

Field Exposure:

• Shadow CMs, PMs, and site leaders to observe daily operations, planning discussions, and project meetings.

Applied Project Work:

• Participate in a defined site-based project or process improvement task, contributing to real project needs under mentor guidance.

Self-Paced Learning:

• Complete online training covering safety awareness, construction management basics, and professional development.

Mentoring and Feedback:

• Attend regular check-ins with supervisors and mentors to receive feedback and guidance throughout the internship.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship, interns will:

• Understand Bilfinger's safety culture and operational procedures.
• Be able to articulate how safety, quality, cost, and customer expectations are interconnected in project management.
• Gain practical experience in construction management responsibilities and real-time project execution.
• Develop a capstone project that reflects their learning and contributions during the internship.

Qualifications Education:

Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

GPA:

Minimum of 3.0.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Travel:
