Civil Engineering / Land Development Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Civil Engineer to join our Milwaukee-based team, focused on site design and land development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of commercial, industrial, and residential developments, supporting projects from initial concept through construction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in site design, including grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting. Key Responsibilities Design and prepare site development plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and erosion control Develop stormwater management systems in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and permit submittals Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, architects, and engineering teams Communicate with municipal agencies and regulatory authorities throughout the permitting process Support projects from concept through construction, including RFIs and construction administration Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DOT, DNR, and local municipal standards Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong knowledge of grading, stormwater, utilities, and site layout design Experience working with Wisconsin municipalities and permitting processes preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
