ABOUT THRASHER
The Thrasher Group is a full-service architecture, engineering, and field services consulting firm with a proven track record of project success across the Mid-Atlantic region. Our multidisciplinary team delivers professional services to clients in five core markets: architecture, land development, water resources, transportation, and energy.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an entry-level Civil Staff Engineer to join our Bridgeport, WV team, supporting work in Water Resources and Land Development. As a member of the team, you will contribute to a variety of projects, drive profitability, and collaborate with a group of like-minded professionals in a fast-paced, can-do environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering solutions Support senior engineers in project planning and execution Prepare technical documentation and reports Conduct research and analysis to solve engineering challenges Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Certification:
EI/EIT certification desired but not required
Experience:
0-3 years of relevant engineering experience
Software:
Microsoft Office proficiency required; AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience a plus Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Travel:
Ability to participate in periodic day travel required
