Job Description

Civil Project Engineer - Morgantown, WV Potesta & Associates, Inc. (POTESTA) is looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join our Morgantown, West Virginia team. This role will contribute to engineering projects involving water and wastewater systems, utilities, and site development for clients throughout West Virginia and the surrounding region. Our engineers work closely with project managers and other technical professionals across multiple disciplines, providing opportunities to participate in projects from initial planning and design through construction. What You'll Do Prepare civil engineering designs for water, wastewater, utility, and site development projects. Develop construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and other project documents. Assist with technical studies, evaluations, and engineering reports. Prepare project maps, exhibits, and supporting graphics. Provide engineering support during bidding and construction. Participate in site visits and construction observation activities. Assist with quality reviews of project plans and deliverables. Work with clients, permitting agencies, contractors, and other members of the project team. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline Approximately 3-7 years of civil engineering experience EIT or PE credential preferred; candidates working toward professional licensure are encouraged to apply Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize priorities and contribute to multiple projects Team-oriented approach and willingness to work across engineering disciplines Why
