Performs construction materials laboratory work to fulfill the Quality Assurance program for the District. Performs sampling, testing, calibrations, inspections, and documentation for District construction projects. Possession of a high school diploma or GED; OR Six months of experience in sub-professional engineering, heavy mobile equipment operation, or mobile equipment maintenance. Job Duties:
  • Performs work to fulfill the District's Quality Assurance program.
  • Receives and processes samples from construction Gangs and Consultants for testing.
  • Analyzes results to ensure compliance with DOTD policies, procedures, and specifications
  • Performs borings and corings of existing roadways to provide information for District Design preliminary plans.
