Civil Engineering Construction Technician

General Job Description Gosling Czubak Engineering Sciences, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineering Technician with experience in civil engineering construction observation and materials testing. This is a seasonal position. Expected duration May - August. Responsibilities Will Include Represent Gosling Czubak on construction sites Work with the engineers, contractors, and owners to successfully complete the construction project Observation and inspection for road, site development, and utility construction Testing of concrete, soils, asphalt, and other construction materials in the laboratory and field. Prepare written reports, resolve problems in the field, verify compliance with construction standards Required Skills and Experience A minimum of 1 year of experience providing materials testing and construction observation High School Diploma required (Civil Technology degree is a plus) Experience with materials testing, testing certifications, and /or Associates Degree in related field required. MDOT experience and certifications is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to develop and maintain good relationships with clients and team members.
