Job Description

Under the general direction of the Assistant City Engineer, this position is responsible for assisting Engineering Technicians in engineering-related work in the field (75%) and office (25%). Assists in performing construction project field inspections, private utility permit reviews and inspections and follow-up documentation preparation. Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Valid Class D driver's license Desirable Requirements
  • Currently enrolled full-time at a two- or four-year college or university in a course of study leading to a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a comparable course of study
  • Three years' experience with Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel
  • Municipal engineering and/or inspection experience
  • Experience operating AutoCAD and ERSI software products
  • Experience in surveying, construction inspection and testing, traffic counts, familiarity with AutoCAD and/or GIS Learn and apply: Learn more and apply: https://www.
