Design the projects that shape Branson's future. Turn ideas into infrastructure as you create the plans behind the roads, utilities, parks, and public projects that keep our community growing. What You'll Do Design and update CAD drawings for roads, utilities, parks, and public infrastructure projects. Collect field data and assist with surveying, layout, and staking using specialized equipment. Support engineering projects by creating maps, plans, reports, and as-built drawings. Help bring public improvement projects to life—from initial design through construction support. Collaborate with engineers and survey teams to build the future of Branson. Do you have what it takes for this exciting role?
  • Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associates of Technology degree in Civil Technology. o Directly related full-time work experience, as determined by the Department Director, of four (4) or more years' full-time employment in technical engineering may be substituted for formal education or training.
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible and successful full-time employment in technical engineering, to include drafting, surveying, and mapping, as part of the duties.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screenings.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting hourly wage is $28.04 per hour and will increase to $29.16 per hour after 6 months of successful probation . Please click on this link for a complete list of compensation/benefits information.

WORK HOURS
Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
WORK LOCATION
City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in-office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
