B&N CADD
Technician Responsibilities Support engineers and senior CAD designers with transportation projects in Ohio and other regions Assist engineers and CAD designers with transportation projects with tasks such as drafting and design, creation / editing of technical drawings and materials for submittal packages Support completion of engineering calculations using Microsoft Excel Support creation of construction specifications using Microsoft Word Assist in training lower-level CAD technicians on MicroStation/OpenRoads, plan production, and best practices Skills & Qualifications Vocational school or associate degree in related program preferred. Civil Engineering Technician preferred Highly proficient using MicroStation / OpenRoads and Microsoft Office required Experience in plan development for public agencies, counties and/or municipalities AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is a plus Ability to train staff in AutoCAD / Civil 3D design / production a plus Ability to take verbal direction and implement into drawings and calculations to produce the final work Good communication skills, team player and detail oriented with a strong understanding of plan clarity Interested in training staff and supporting the growth of Transportation CADD team as a company resource for roadway, traffic, drainage and other discipline production efforts To learn more about B&N's Perks and Culture click here . #LI-BS1
