Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BIM Specialist to join our innovative design and construction team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the development, management, and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across multiple projects. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of digital models, fostering collaboration among architects, engineers, and construction teams. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain BIM models for various architectural and engineering projects using software such as Revit, NavisWorks, SketchUp, and AutoCAD. Coordinate with project teams to ensure BIM standards are followed and models are compatible across disciplines. Create detailed 3D models, schematics, and construction documentation that facilitate accurate visualization and planning. Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within models using NavisWorks or similar tools to prevent costly on-site issues. Support the integration of CAD drawings with BIM workflows by utilizing Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, or other drafting software as needed. Assist in developing 2D animations and walkthroughs that enhance project presentations and stakeholder understanding. Provide technical guidance on BIM best practices, including drafting standards, schematics development, and mechanical design integration. Requirements Proven experience with BIM software such as Revit, NavisWorks, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or SolidWorks. Strong background in mechanical design and drafting within construction or engineering environments. Familiarity with creating schematics, 2D animations, and detailed CAD drawings for complex projects. Knowledge of construction processes and how BIM enhances project delivery from design through completion. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure or building projects is preferred.
