Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking an Architect / Architectural Designer with hands-on experience in industrial warehouse and commercial building design and construction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple projects from design through construction. This position is full time and in-person. Salary starting from $65,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Design industrial buildings including industrial warehouses, steel-framed buildings, commercial buildings, cold storage & food processing buildings. Prepare architectural drawings, and construction documents. Communicate with the project's stakeholders including clients, government agencies, contractors and others. Coordinate closely with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Landscape Architects, contractors, and other consultants. Provide construction support and respond to RFIs. Ensure compliance with latest CBC, California Energy Code, and local building codes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's preferred but not required) California Architects license (preferred but not required) Minimum 3 years of experience in design, including industrial / commercial projects Strong knowledge of the CBC latest edition Proficiency with AutoCAD, AI applications & Microsoft office suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Industrial/warehouse or distribution center design Food processing knowledge Knowledge of tilt-up building design
Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
