After nearly ten years of development, the company has also developed into a full-service real estate enterprise integrating real estate investment consulting, architectural design, landscape design, and interior design, trusted by hundreds of real estate development companies. We are looking for a experienced Chinese-speaking Architectural Designer/Drafter . Our company primarily works on AutoCAD to complete construction schematics to prepare for city or county approval. Knowledge of municipal building codes is necessary as well. Here are a few responsibilities you would expect:
Job Description:
Drafting plans, preparing and delivering architectural drawings. Check with the city/county and any other related organizations to answer client consultations. Consult Design schemes with customers and Senior Management; Ability to manage time and workload in order to meet project deadlines and commitments with periodic interaction and direction from project leaders; Liaise with city/county authorities and related organizations, promptly following through with planning submissions, correction discussions, resubmissions, and permit submissions; Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques; Travel as required and support the design department or construction site with all other responsibilities; Support marketing department with project-related work; Other Duties as assigned;Qualifications:
A U.S. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related Design field is (Required) At least 2-year U.S. architectural drafter-related work experience is (Required) At least 1-2 years of City Permit Submissions. (Required) Able to communicate with Chinese (Required) Project Management Skills (Preferred) General knowledge of U.S. architectural practice, including site planning, civil, and codes, is (Required) Familiarity with ADU Building Codes and City Code Requirements. (Required) Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. (Required) Familiarity with City Permit Submissions. (Required) Excellent communication, strong problem-solving, and organizational skills. (Preferred) Must have California Driver's License and a reliable vehicleJob Type:
