Professional Engineer Civil Engineering Full Job Description Job Description Company & Position Overview:
Permontes Group, Inc. is an established civil engineering and land development firm located in Longmont, Colorado. Permontes regularly provides planning, engineering, permitting, and project management services for land development, and service support projects in Colorado and are excited to be growing in our areas of expertise.
Responsibilities:
Develop cost-effective design layouts based on construction specifications and requirements Adhere to established design guidelines and procedures Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions Perform civil design analysis and calculations according to project requirements, and determine cost estimates (construction, material) Review project plan to determine design feasibilities and constraints Use latest software and technologies to develop effective designs; AutoCad Civil 3D, SWMM, Microsoft Office, Mile High Flood District Design tools Maintain detailed and accurate design files Observe health, safety and environmental requirements when developing civil designs Manage design projects within specified timelines and budgets Perform design changes and improvements in accordance with project demands Stay current with the latest technology, training, and tools in civil design fields
Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil Engineering P.E. License (current) 6+ years of experience in single & multi-family residential, commercial, site/land development including, roadway design, grading, and storm water design, water resources, infrastructure engineering, transportation engineering, or related area of practice Strong technical writing and communication skills
