Job Description

Architectural Designer Location:
Coral Springs, FL (Onsite) This is a hands-on position where you will be involved in the full lifecycle of projects, from early design through construction. You will work primarily on single-family homes including additions, gut renovations, and ground-up projects, as well as light commercial fitouts. These are not small or repetitive jobs. Most projects require thoughtful design decisions that carry through the life of the project and impact how the space is actually built and experienced. If you're looking for ownership, responsibility, and real project experience, this role offers that opportunity. Compensation & Benefits $70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience) 401k with company match Paid time off What You'll Do You will typically be working across 1-3 projects at different stages, shifting between conceptual design, construction documents, and coordination with consultants, clients, and AHJs. The work varies, and you'll be expected to manage priorities, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility for entire projects including design, coordination, client communication, and delivery with guidance and oversight as needed. What Makes This Role Different This is a small, growing office where your work has a direct impact. You will not be siloed into one phase. Instead, you will be involved in site visits, measurements, code research, consultant coordination, and detailed construction documentation.
The goal is simple:
to give you a real understanding of how projects come together from start to finish. What It Takes to Succeed Take ownership of your work and follow things through Be comfortable working independently and figuring things out Approach challenges as part of the job Care about the outcome, not just completing tasks This role requires attention to detail and accountability. Cutting corners tends to create more work later doing things properly from the start matters. What Success Looks Like (6 Months In) You are running projects with guidance, coordinating consultants, communicating with clients, and producing solid, reliable construction documents. You understand how your design decisions translate into real construction. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture 3-5 years of experience Proficiency in Revit Strong understanding of construction documents and building systems Ability to manage time, priorities, and deadlines Residential experience is a plus. Bottom Line You are responsible for turning design decisions into real buildings thinking through consequences, coordinating people, and delivering work that holds up over time. If that excites you, you'll do well here. Come Join Our Design Team! Start by filling out this 3-minute, mobile-friendly application here. We look forward to hearing from you! #PHR123
