Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to support the rapid design, development, and deployment of temporary structures in a fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and field teams to gather requirements, develop fabrication-ready design packages, and ensure structures meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

DOE Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday (Overtime as Needed) Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document structural and functional requirements. Develop and maintain fabrication-ready design packages for external vendors and contractors. Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, safety standards, and site-specific conditions. Coordinate with vendors during fabrication to resolve RFIs, design questions, and technical issues. Incorporate engineering changes and design revisions in a dynamic project environment. Maintain revision-controlled drawings, calculations, and engineering documentation. Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during fabrication, construction, and installation activities. Evaluate structural performance, constructability, and installation requirements. Support field teams by resolving technical issues and implementing practical engineering solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 3+ years of structural, civil, or mechanical engineering experience. Experience producing fabrication-ready design packages for vendors and contractors. Proficiency with CAD and engineering design software. Strong understanding of structural design principles, fabrication processes, and construction practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
