Job Description
Take-Off Specialist The Ryan Companies is looking for an individual to assist our Estimator in our Stuart Office. This person must be able to use and understand AGTEK software for quantification of material on civil plans. We are a 5th generation sitework contractor specializing in Earthwork, Underground Utilities and Paving. Primary Responsibilities Understand construction drawings associated with land development and transportation projects Determine volume, square, or linear footage estimates of materials being proposed using a CAD system and AGTEK or PayDirt software system. Assist the Estimator in putting the bid proposal's together Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience with Auto
CAD / AGTEK
Computer Skills- Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Good communication skills
- written, verbal, and interpersonal Proficient at reading and understanding Civil construction drawings Preferred Qualifications Certificate or degree in computer drafting or design AutoCAD experience in civil engineering drafting Familiarity with Trimble products
- Business Center CAD software, survey and machine Familiarity with Agtek or AutoCAD Civil 3D Self-starter Experience in the Civil Engineering or Land Surveying industry A Degree in Civil Engineering would be a plus
