  • Coordinate drawing content with project managers, engineers, and fabrication staff to resolve design and constructability issues.
  • Revise and update drawings in response to design changes, RFIs, and field conditions while maintaining version control.
  • Apply relevant building codes, industry standards, and company design guidelines to all drawings.
  • Prepare clear, accurate dimensioning, labeling, and annotation to support fabrication and on-site installation.
  • Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation to support project tracking and handover.

  • Solid understanding of construction and architectural drawings for commercial building projects.
  • Familiarity with building codes and industry standards relevant to façade, cladding, or metal systems.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under time constraints in a contract environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and respond to design feedback.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with commercial façade systems, rainscreens, curtain wall, or similar exterior cladding solutions.
  • Background working directly with metal fabrication shops or manufacturers.
  • Exposure to BIM workflows or coordination with other design platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
  • Experience supporting field installation teams with as-built updates and detail clarifications.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • AutoCAD certification or equivalent formal training in CAD design (preferred).
