Senior Truss Designer

Job Summary Inteframe Components is a locally owned company specializing in design and manufacturing of floor and roof trusses. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Truss Designer to join our team. In this role, you will use MiTek software to create efficient and effective truss designs for various residential and commercial projects. Duties Provide superior customer service with the ability to locate problems and create solutions. Utilize MiTek software to design roof and floor trusses, ensuring compliance with building codes and client specifications. Perform calculations and analyses to determine structural integrity and load-bearing capacities. Review and modify existing designs based on feedback and changes in project design. Review construction documents and ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and project specifications. Prepare detailed truss layout to insure proper installation. Communicate effectively with salesmen and team members to ensure smooth project execution. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to truss design. Maintain professional etiquette. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in the MiTek or Alpine suite of software. Proficient in the use of truss design concepts and math skills. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to take on new tasks or assignments as needed. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and independently. Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image.

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
