Structural Design Engineer Segula Technologies - 3.0 Wichita, KS Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications Structural engineering practices 3D modeling software Aerospace design Composite materials in industrial design Composites experience in material engineering Full Job Description Looking for an Aerospace Structural Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in aircraft structures, strong CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE skills, and hands-on experience designing nacelle, metallic, and composite components. The ideal candidate has worked on primary and secondary aircraft structures and understands manufacturability, weight optimization, and regulatory compliance. Develop and design primary and secondary aircraft structures. Create and maintain detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX). Design and integrate nacelle structural components and assemblies. Support the development of metallic and composite structural parts. Evaluate designs for performance, structural integrity, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness. Collaborate with stress, manufacturing, tooling, and systems engineering teams. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and release packages. Support weight reduction initiatives, payload integration, and lofting activities as required. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience as

; OR Required Skills Level 2-3 proficiency in
CATIA V5.
Experience using 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX). Aerospace structural design experience. Experience with nacelle design and integration. Knowledge of metallic and composite structures. Experience with primary and/or secondary aircraft structures. Strong understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with weight optimization and payload integration. Knowledge of lofting and surface development. Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements. Experience supporting commercial, military, or space vehicle programs.
