Civil Engineer — Site Design & Land Development LCR & Company, LLC | Lafayette, LA About LCR & Company LCR & Company is a growing civil engineering firm based in Lafayette, Louisiana, serving municipal, commercial, residential, and industrial clients across the Gulf Coast. The Role We're looking for a licensed Civil Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in site design and land development to join our team as a project manager and engineer of record. You'll own projects from kickoff through construction administration, work directly with clients and agencies, and play a meaningful role in the growth of the firm. What You'll Do Lead and produce civil site design packages including grading, drainage, paving, water, and sewer utilities Manage permitting coordination with local and state agencies (DOTD, LDH, parish and municipal planning, etc.) Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and subconsultants throughout the project lifecycle Mentor junior staff and EITs What We're Looking For Louisiana PE license (required) 5 to 10 years of experience in civil site design and land development Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong working knowledge of grading, drainage, paving, and utility design Experience navigating local and state permitting processes in Louisiana is a plus A communicator with clients, with the team, and with agencies Someone who respects the schedule and takes ownership of their work Schedule Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Why LCR You'll have real responsibility, real variety, and a team that genuinely values the person as much as the professional.
