Licensed Architect

The Personnel Consulting Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Licensed Design Architect with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience for a very well respected engineering and architecture firm on the Northshore. The ideal candidate will bring strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects from concept through construction. This role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to delivering innovative, functional, and sustainable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architectural design projects from initial concept through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation. Develop creative design concepts that meet client goals, regulatory requirements, and project budgets. Prepare and review architectural drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials. Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and quality. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits. Oversee construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site observations. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications:

Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch). Active architectural license in Louisiana Minimum of 5 years of relevant architectural design experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and built work. Proficiency in design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of BIM workflows preferred).
