Job Description

We are a Maine based design firm looking for a positive, detail oriented, enthusiastic, and well rounded Designer to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and computer skills, is outgoing, can multitask, and works well both individually and with a team. Responsibilities:
Preparation, presentation, development, and oversight of design materials for assigned projects, including, but not limited to: Presentation packages Drawings (CAD and hand drawn) Sample selections, product specifications, and finish schedules Plan set development and documentation Scope of work, budgets, and deliverable schedules Management and oversight of all assigned design projects, including, but not limited to: Design, selection, and installation of interior furnishings and window treatments Scheduling and maintaining updated design schedules and open items list Track current time projections for all assigned design projects Developing and issuing deliverables Sourcing and managing communications with vendors and tradespeople Develop and issue product estimates and purchase orders for furnishings and labor Mentor Junior Designers and Design Assistants Meet with clients, document design goals and direction Code Review and compliance Scheduling, oversight, and management of subcontractors and jobsite installations Assist and coordinate with other Interior Designers on their assigned projects as needed Transfer client approved design packages into project estimates Assist colleagues whenever necessary Coordination with owner on all contracts to be issued Job requirements : Comprehensive knowledge of construction administration practices and planset management Ability to lead large projects from start to finish Minimum Associates Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, and/or 5 years' experience High level of organization and attention to detail Enjoys a fast-paced environment and multitasking Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, power point), photoshop, and AutoCAD Experience in 3D rendering programs is a plus Knowledge of Ivy & HouzzPro is a plus If interested : Please send cover letter, resume, and portfolio for consideration.
