at LJB Inc. in South Portland, Maine, United States Job Description Description Gorrill Palmer is part of LJB Engineering, a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with six main business lines which include: Transportation, Municipal, Land Development, Water Resources, Buildings Structure Design and Safety/Fall Protection Design and Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries. We offer challenging and rewarding assignments for co-op students and summer interns. Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment.

Pay:

$18+ an hour

DESIGN ENGINEERING INTERN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline focus Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well established standards, procedures and drawings Students will be exposed to design processes as well as various office and field procedures

DESIGN ENGINEERING INTERN ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS

Education:

Must be a civil engineering major at an accredited university Must be entering their Junior or Senior year of college

Qualifications:

Some travel may be required U.S. citizenship required

Physical:
