Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Drafter to join our small operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating conceptual designs and precise architectural drawings and schematics that align with project specifications and client needs. This role requires proficiency in Chief Architect software and a strong understanding of residential construction details. Unfortunately the hours worked for us do not count towards AXP or NCARB experience. Duties Work collaboratively with team to design residential projects. Develop detailed architectural drawings using Chief Architect CAD software. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards in all drafted documents. Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders and maintain organized records of all drafts. Assist in the preparation of presentations for clients, showcasing design proposals effectively. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software. Familiarity with Chief Architect is preferred. Strong understanding of residential building practices. Experience with schematic design and the ability to create clear, concise technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
