Remodeling Drafter

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products.
• Proficiency in CAD drafting software (Chief Architect experience a plus).
• Experience with residential construction documents and details.
• Experience with local building code requirement and permits.
• Familiarity with residential construction assemblies, materials and terminology.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize a workload in a multi-task environment.
• Team player and self-starter.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist Design Consultants with site measurements and project photographs.
• Utilize Chief Architect to produce Existing Conditions drawings for use by the Design Consultants.
• Prepare sketches and/or renderings of proposed layout and design.
• Work with municipal planning, zoning, and building departments, regarding permitting.
• Organize and maintain files for all project drawings.
• Develop and maintain Odd Fellows Contracting standard construction details.

Physical and Mental Functioning Requirements:

• Light to medium physical work that may require extensive standing, walking, stooping, crouching, use of a ladder, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively (expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken or written word).
• Ability to distinguish between colors in terms of hue as part of the drafting process.

Pay:

$48,000.00
