Job Description

Seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer III to support engineering design modifications and modernization projects for a nuclear facility.
Pay:
$79.00- $89.00 per hour
DOE Requirements:
  • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or related degree
  • 10+ years of nuclear industry engineering experience
  • Experience preparing Civil/Structural design modification packages
  • Strong understanding of nuclear design processes
  • Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access
Preferred:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Experience supporting Brunswick Nuclear Plant projects
  • Experience with 10CFR50.
59 evaluations and nuclear facility modifications Responsibilities include developing engineering change packages, structural calculations, seismic and foundation evaluations, technical specifications, safety evaluations, field engineering support, design revisions, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
