Senior role:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years (more is better). Day-to-Day Responsibilities Use AutoCAD tools , including: 3D modeling Key tasks: Substation physical design. Scaling accurately. Ensuring civil steel drawings match physical constraints (height, dimensions). Maintain Substation clearances, bus work, equipment layout. Produce section drawings in 2D.

Workflow:

Take high-level scope from engineers and produce drawings. Engineers sign off on final drawings. Candidate should understand substation design and be an expert in AutoCAD. Must have Skills AutoCAD (2D drafting and 3D modeling).

Substation design experience International candidates:

Canadians are acceptable; (UAE/Dubai is not - standards differ)
