Job Description:
We are seeking talented Architectural Designers at various levels (Entry, Intermediate, and Advanced) to join our expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on diverse and complex building projects, collaborating with engineers, contractors, and owners throughout the design and construction process. We are looking for designers who are driven by design excellence and committed to delivering projects that exceed client expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and engineers from initial concept through project completion. Develop and implement design criteria based on relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Create comprehensive contract documents, including detailed construction drawings and technical specifications. Generate innovative schematic and detailed designs, evaluating planning and concept alternatives. Manage building department and other government agency application processes and filings. Conduct thorough reviews of shop drawings and RFIs, ensuring compliance with design intent. Perform site visits and prepare detailed field inspection reports.
Qualifications:
Entry Level:
Bachelor's degree in architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong academic foundation and passion for architectural design Internship or co-op experience a plus
Intermediate Level:
Bachelor's degree in architecture. 3+ years of progressive experience in residential and commercial building design. Strong understanding of NYC zoning, building, and energy codes. Proven ability to coordinate complete sets of construction documents.
Advanced Level:
Bachelor's degree in architecture. 6+ years of extensive experience in residential and commercial building design. Expert knowledge of NYC zoning, building, and energy codes. Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initial planning to final C/O. Strong project management skills.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
