A premier architecture firm in the heart of New York City is searching for a meticulous expert with a passion for optimising BIM methodologies to enhance project outcomes. This role demands a versatile professional skilled in addressing technical challenges, establishing efficient office standards, and guiding project teams through superior BIM practices.
Key skills include:
Mastery of Autodesk Revit and an in-depth comprehension of BIM processes and protocols. Solid grasp of architectural documentation as well as construction methodologies. Proven background in creating and sustaining Revit families, templates, and digital libraries. Ability to address and resolve performance issues within Revit and related software applications. Familiarity with a range of interoperability solutions such as CAD, IFC, Navisworks, and Rhino. Expertise in collaborative and cloud-based model management. Added proficiency in Dynamo scripting and workflow automation is advantageous. The role also requires adeptness in: Thorough problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and ticketing system navigation. Training abilities to elevate staff competencies across diverse tech-savvy levels. Streamlining processes and ensuring model preciseness. Juggling multiple priorities effectively while adhering to strict schedules. Candidates with outstanding interpersonal skills will excel by: Embracing a team-first mindset while thriving on autonomous tasks. Executing clear and precise communication, both written and spoken. Efficiently translating complex technical jargon into user-friendly advice. Engaging stakeholders during informative sessions and workshops. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or Interior Design, coupled with 3 to 5 years of robust BIM support experience in environments like architecture or interior design firms.
