In this role, you will be instrumental in developing comprehensive design solutions for a variety of infrastructure projects, including water treatment facilities, wastewater systems, pipelines, and land development initiatives. Your expertise will help translate complex concepts into precise technical drawings and models, ensuring project success from conception through construction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to impactful civil engineering projects that shape communities and improve quality of life. Duties Prepare detailed civil engineering designs, schematics, and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools. Develop system designs for water treatment, wastewater management, hydraulics, and geotechnical engineering applications. Utilize GIS and ArcGIS platforms to analyze spatial data and support land surveying and environmental assessments. Assist in project scheduling, construction management, and estimating to ensure timely project delivery within budget. Conduct construction inspection activities to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with project engineers on system modeling using Mathcad, SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Centers tools), and other technical resources. Prepare technical reports and documentation through precise technical writing to support project proposals and construction phases. Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and CAD drafting techniques for civil infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of project management principles including scheduling, planning, and construction oversight. Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and land surveying support. Familiarity with hydraulic modeling tools like HEC-HMS or SWMM for water systems design. Ability to perform construction estimating and manage construction inspection activities effectively. Understanding of geotechnical engineering principles related to soil analysis and foundation design.
