Civil/Structural Design Engineer Advantage Technical $90,000.00-$160,000.00 paid time off, 401(k) United States, Ohio, Piketon Jun 18, 2026 Civil / Structural Design Engineer (Direct Hire) Design critical infrastructure. Drive complex engineering projects. Build a lasting impact. We're seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Design Engineer to lead structural engineering projects in a highly regulated industrial environment. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to manage facility modifications from concept through construction while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead civil and structural engineering design for facility upgrades and modifications. Perform structural analysis for steel, concrete, foundations, equipment supports, and anchorage systems. Evaluate static and dynamic loads, including wind, seismic, thermal, and vibration effects. Develop, review, and revise engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and design packages. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure successful project integration. Provide field engineering support, conduct site walkdowns, and resolve construction-related technical issues. Assist with procurement packages, scopes of work, subcontractor support, and technical bid evaluations. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and configuration control requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field from an ABET-accredited program 5+ years of structural design and analysis experience in industrial, energy, manufacturing, or regulated environments Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, seismic, and building code requirements Experience supporting construction activities and field engineering efforts Ability to obtain required security clearance
Compensation:
Senior Engineer:
$90,000 - $130,000
Principal Engineer:
Up to $155,000 - $160,000 Benefits Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
