Senior Designer Job Location Toronto Entro is a recognized international place branding and experiential design firm with offices in Toronto, New York, Calgary, and Vancouver. Who We Need Our Toronto office is looking for a Senior Designer who will be an integral part of the design team, responsible for leading the conceptualization, development, and execution of environmental branding and wayfinding initiatives. Responsibilities Design team leadership role in the design, development, detailing and implementation of signage, environmental graphics, identity, branding and print projects; Support the Creative Director in leading the design team in creating conceptual renderings, artwork, and graphic materials and design intent specifications; Meet with clients to assess project needs and lead client-facing design presentations; Create wayfinding strategies, message schedules and signage location plans; Build relationships with clients and suppliers to develop effective working partnerships; Meet with design team and project management to determine project needs including budgeting, timing, and project expectations; Provide necessary client liaison support throughout all stages of the project; Oversee projects to ensure compliance to defined goals and standards; Nurture a design focus and encourage a vibrant and enthusiastic design office; Mentor and support emerging design team members in project tasks and in their professional development Qualifications Minimum college diploma in graphic design or a similar field; Minimum of 5 to 7 years professional experience; a portfolio that demonstrates experience with various aspects of signage design work is a plus; Previous experience in experiential graphic design, architecture, or industrial design firm setting; Knowledge of signage and wayfinding production techniques is an asset; Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Initiative and desire to learn; Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment; Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
