Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you are expected to proactively identify and resolve errors prior to review by the Project Architect. Primary Duties Create comprehensive construction document packages, moving from design development through to permit and bid issuance. Ensure the architectural model aligns seamlessly with structural, MEP, and civil systems to help maintain a clash-free project environment. Generate and maintain accurate door, window, finish, and equipment schedules to ensure model consistency. Illustrate intricate details, including wall sections, stair and elevator configurations, roof transitions, and waterproofing systems. Contribute to code compliance by preparing egress and occupancy plans, as well as documenting fire-rated assemblies with appropriate UL standards. Oversee the management of consultant background files and facilitate the distribution of coordination sets. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff regarding technical standards and drafting best practices. Facilitate construction administration by processing submittals and preparing supplemental sketches or bulletin drawings to keep the project moving forward. Essential Qualifications Between three and six years of experience in architectural production within a design-build or professional design firm setting. High-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, including expertise in families, parameters, work-sharing, and shared coordinates. A strong understanding of building code basics, ADA accessibility standards, and fire-rated assembly requirements. The capability to translate consultant redlines and field-verified data into accurate project documentation. Desired Skills Experience in developing custom Revit families and familiarity with Dynamo. Practical background in construction or field-based work. Knowledge of permitting processes specific to Norman, Cleveland County, and the City of OKC.
